Event overview

The Leprechaun Chase 5K is scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 2026, in Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey. The event is organized by the JCPTA and is held at Arthur Stanlick School, 121B E Shawnee Trail, Lake Hopatcong, NJ 07885. The race program includes a 5K event and a Jefferson Township Student event. Entry fees listed are $35 for the Leprechaun Chase 5K and $25 for the Jefferson Township Student event. Registration notes show 196 spots left for each event and that prices increase after December 30, 2025 at 11:59pm EST. This is the second year the JCPTA is presenting the race. The event is timed. All participants will receive a medal and an official long-sleeve Leprechaun race shirt, with shirts free to the first 200 registrants.

Course and logistics

The course covers 3.1 miles on the roads of Lake Shawnee and includes rolling hills and lake views. Parking is available on site at Stanlick School and bathroom facilities will be provided on site.
