Event Overview
The Leominster 5K & 10K is a road race held on the Summer Bank Holiday. Participants can choose between a 5 km or a 10 km distance.
Distances
- 5K: A fast and flat out-and-back course on quiet country lanes.
- 10K: A gently undulating course along the scenic country lanes of Leominster.
Practical Information
The race headquarters and start/finish area is at Halo Leisure, Bridge Street Sports Centre in Leominster. Limited paid parking is available on-site, with other car parks nearby. Toilets are available at the venue. The event is chip-timed. Water is provided post-race for the 5K, and there is a water station on the 10K route. Full medical event cover is in place.
Every finisher receives a medal. Prizes are awarded to the first, second, and third-placed male and female participants in both events. Full results are published online after the race.
Entry Details
There is an overall event limit of 300 participants. All entrants must sign up in advance; no on-the-day entries are permitted. The minimum age on race day is 11 for the 5K and 15 for the 10K.
