Lekotek Run
The Lekotek Run is the 34th annual community race held on August 29, 2026, at Brook Run Park in Dunwoody, GA. The event serves as a Peachtree Road Race qualifier and includes a certified 5K plus a one mile fun run.
The event features these distances:
- 5K (certified), including a wheelchair division
- 1 Mile Fun Run
Registration is available online and by mail with tiered fees. Online entry is $30 if completed by August 1 and $35 after August 1 and on race day. Mail-in registration is $25 if received by August 1 and $30 after that date and on race day. Children under 12 pay the dollar amount of their age regardless of registration method or date.
A finish line party follows the races with refreshments, brunch, cartoon characters, and a moonwalk. Awards are given for overall 5K finishers, first overall masters male and female, age group placings across multiple divisions from 10 and under to 75 and over, and team participation awards for the top three teams by size. One mile fun run awards include 1st through 3rd overall male and female; all children in the fun run receive a medal and a shirt. Awards are not given to virtual or phantom runners.
