Leith Harbour Free 5/10km course details
Leith Harbour Free stages regular 5 km and 10 km runs on the Te Aka Ōtākou shared path in Dunedin. There are two distinct course start and finish locations and the routes are noted as wheelchair and pram friendly.
Course 1 starts and finishes at the corner of Magnet Street and Neptune Street. The 5 km turnaround is marked by a long white ribbon between two red painted fence poles. The 10 km turnaround is opposite the new carpark area at a red painted fence pole.
Course 2 starts and finishes at Kitchener Street, by Watercooled Sports. On this course the 5 km turnaround is at the entrance to the Vauxhall Yacht Club carpark and the 10 km turnaround is at the first tree following two log benches. On Course 2 the 5 km race turns at 2.5 km and shares the same start and finish location as the 10 km race.
