Event Information

The Lehigh Sabor Latino 5K is a running event celebrating Latin culture. It takes place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Veterans Park in Lehigh Acres, Florida. The event is organized by Apex Promoz and is part of the Hispanic 5K Series, following the inaugural Hispanic Heritage 5K in 2025.

Race Details

The event features a single 5K race. The 5K will be chip-timed. Awards will be given for overall male and female winners (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place), as well as for age group categories ranging from 0-10 up to 70+.

All finishers receive a commemorative medal and an event shirt.

Festivities and Atmosphere

The event aims to be a family-friendly celebration. Planned entertainment includes a live DJ and emcee playing nonstop Latin music, such as salsa, merengue, bachata, and reggaeton. There will also be five local food trucks offering authentic flavors. After the award ceremony, there is a couples dance competition presented by Fleet Feet Fort Myers, described as just for fun and not a professional competition.

Logistics
