Legends Spooky Trail Race
The Legends Spooky Trail Race takes place at Rudy Mines on the Ben Hawes Trail System near Owensboro, Kentucky on October 25, 2026. The event uses a two-loop layout that totals 6 km (about 3.72 miles), with each loop approximately 3 km.
Runners start to the left of the parking lot at the open field of the red trail-head, then enter the woods on the Green Trail. The route passes rolling hills and switchbacks, moves through double track sections of Red and Yellow trail, and finishes each loop with a notable climb. The course includes a mix of climbs, downhill segments, twists and turns.
Terrain is mostly dirt and packed trail with some rooty and rocky sections, so uneven footing should be expected. Staff and course markers are present along the route to provide direction and assistance.
