Event information

The Legends Spooky Trail Race takes place on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at Rudy Mines on the Ben Hawes Trail System just outside Owensboro, Kentucky. The event is a run/walk with an entry fee of $30. The price increases after October 1, 2025. The event location is 5687 W Hwy 60, Owensboro, KY 42301.

Course and terrain

The course is a two-loop trail that starts to the left of the parking lot at the open field by the red trailhead. The route goes into the woods along the Green Trail, passes rolling hills and switchbacks, then follows double track sections of the Red and Yellow trails and includes a climb near the end of each loop. Staff and trail markers will be placed along the course.
