The Underground Circus 308
The Underground Circus 308 is an ultrarunning event in Buffalo, NY, held on December 19, 2026. Distances offered include:

The course runs through Buffalo and crosses into Cheektowaga, with multiple laps around a park and a finish at the 308 location. Surfaces include city streets, sidewalks, and the asphalt around the park. Streets are open to traffic and there are sections where runners must use sidewalks because no bike lanes are available.
Two aid stations are provided, one in the park and one at the start and finish area. Several mini markets appear along the route and can be used to restock supplies. Participants are responsible for their own fuel between the first aid station and the park roughly 12 miles later. Participants must carry a flashlight or headlamp during night hours and reflective gear is advised. Course markers use bright neon green cones and a laminated map is provided for cross checking.
All distances have a 36 hour cut off. There is no DNF designation; participants who do not reach the distance they signed up for will be recorded at the closest distance they complete. GPS watches are recommended.
Finisher awards include a brass buckle for all 100 mile finishers. All entries receive swag bags and overall awards are given for first through third place in each distance. Entries are non refundable but may be transferred to another Hotlotsofkids race or another runner up to 15 days before the event. The event serves as a fundraising event for the homeless community.
