Checkers A.C. Christmas 3k Race

The Checkers Athletic Club hosts the 6th Annual Checkers Christmas 3k Road Race in Buffalo, New York. This event takes place on the Ring Road within Delaware Park, providing participants with a course that covers just over one full loop of the park's internal road system.

The race follows a 3 km course that is officially USATF certified (certification number NY21014JJ). The starting line is situated at the Indian Hunter Statue, which is located on the southern side of the Delaware Park loop.

Participants are eligible for various awards based on their performance in the event. Trophies are presented to the overall male and female winners, as well as the top male and female finishers in the Masters category. Additionally, medals are awarded to the top three finishers in five-year age groups, ranging from 14 and under to 90 plus.
