Legacy of Patriots 4th Annual Miles of Memories 5K
The event is a community 5K walk/run held in Fenton, Missouri, with an in person option and a virtual option for remote participants. It takes place at 1215 Larkin Williams Road, Fenton, MO 63026, United States. This is the fourth annual Miles of Memories 5K presented by Legacy of Patriots.
The race was created in memory of a service member who was diagnosed with stage four gastric adenocarcinoma that organizers attribute to burn pit exposure during deployment to Baghdad, Iraq eleven years earlier. During treatment the service member regained enough strength to walk several miles on some days, and that recovery is the direct inspiration for the event.
Registration opens April 1, 2026. The registration fee is $30.00 for both the in person and virtual 5K entries. To guarantee receipt of an event t shirt, registrants are asked to register by August 24. The event day includes packet pick up, the 5K walk/run, and time for vendors and music.
