Dash for Donuts 7k/5k
The Dash for Donuts is a running event hosted by the St. Peters Rec-Plex at 370 Lakeside Park Sunset Pavilion, 1000 Lakeside Park Drive. The event offers two distances:
- 7k on paved trails in 370 Lakeside Park
- 5k on paved trails in 370 Lakeside Park
Runners pass a midway station supplied by Donut King where donuts are available during the course. Each registered participant receives a tee shirt and a finisher medal. A family fun area with field games is provided near the finish line. A Kid's 100 yard Dash is offered free for children of race participants ages 12 and under; those children do not receive tee shirts.
Pets are not allowed on the race course. Strollers are permitted but should remain toward the back for safety. Packet pickup is available the day before at the St. Peters Rec-Plex North Food Court and on race day at the Archery parking lot at 370 Lakeside Park.
Awards are given to overall male and female finishers and to top three finishers in listed age group divisions. Registration opens in spring 2026. Personalized 18 by 24 inch race day yard signs are available for a fee, must follow city guidelines, and require orders by August 1 to guarantee placement.
