Northside Trap Run
The Northside Trap Run is a hip-hop themed sports event and community festival located in St. Louis. The event aims to empower North St. Louis neighborhoods and unify various civic, educational, and commercial efforts within the city. Organized by the Young Friends of the Ville, a committee of Northside Community Housing, Inc., this family-friendly gathering combines athletics with local culture.

The course is designed with a heavy emphasis on music, featuring local DJs positioned at various stations along the route. For the current edition, the organizers have expanded the festival footprint. The festival activities take place along MLK from Sarah to Whittier and include a stage, local vendors, and inflatables.
A unique feature of the event is the nonprofit cheer station competition. Various local organizations adopt designated DJ stations along the course to encourage participants. Following the race, runners rank these stations based on their engagement and energy levels, with the winning nonprofit receiving a financial donation from the race committee.
