Leftover 5K Run/Walk - Racine, WI
The Leftover 5K Run/Walk is a Thanksgiving weekend road event held on November 28, 2026, in Racine, Wisconsin. The course starts and finishes at Festival Park on 5 Fifth Street and follows the Lake Michigan Pathway. The distance for participants is 5 km.
The event includes a race shirt, event bib, a finisher's medal, a goody bag, electronic timing, and awards. Organizers use a shoe tag timing system; participants must wear both shoe tags and a visible race bib to be timed. Results are posted online and remain provisional for 48 hours to allow for corrections.
The event supports the Racine County Food Bank and encourages donations of nonperishable canned goods at the race. Organizers also offer a SWAG BUFFET of leftover finisher medals, apparel, and other items from prior events as part of participant goodie bags.
Parking is available at the Gaslight Point Parking Ramp. Awards recognize the top three male and female finishers overall, top male and female in five year age groups beginning at age 10, a 9 and under category, and a wheelchair division.
