2026 Left Hand Brewing Half Marathon & 5k
The Left Hand Brewing Half Marathon and 5k is an event organized by the Colorado Brewery Running Series. Both distances start and finish at the Left Hand Brewing Company in Longmont, Colorado. The course primarily follows the St. Vrain Greenway to the east and is designed as an out-and-back route, with participants returning from the turnaround point located at the 6.55-mile mark for the half marathon.
The routes are mostly flat, though the half marathon includes a modest elevation loss of approximately 300 feet on the way out. For the half marathon, aid stations are positioned every 2 to 2.5 miles. While water is available at these stations, participants are encouraged to carry their own hydration packs or bottles. This distance is chip-timed and open to participants aged 14 and older. The 5k is an untimed fun run that welcomes dogs, running strollers, and children.
Available distances include:
- Half Marathon
- 5k
All participants receive a finisher's medal and a specific event shirt based on their registration date. Registrants for the half marathon receive a tech shirt, while 5k participants receive a standard T-shirt. The event features a post-race celebration at the brewery with live music, local food trucks, and door prizes. A portion of the proceeds from the event supports local non-profit partners. Limited parking is available on-site, with overflow parking located in nearby neighborhoods. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
