Leeds Running Festival
The Leeds Running Festival takes place within Roundhay Park, one of the largest city parks in Europe. This event supports St. Gemma’s Hospice, a local organization providing compassionate care in the Leeds community. The course features a mix of road and gravel surfaces, leading participants through a scenic landscape of woodland, lakes, and open parkland.
Participants can choose from several race distances:
- 5k
- 10k
- Half Marathon
- Junior Race
The 5k route involves an elevation gain of 61 meters. All races are chip-timed to provide accurate results for every runner. The course is managed by a team of marshals located throughout the park to guide participants toward the finish line.
The event includes a central event village where various food and drink options are available. Every participant receives a unique themed medal upon completion of their distance. Entry also includes access to free professional race photos and post-race goodies provided by event partners at the finish line. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
