LECOM 5K

LECOM 5K and 1-Mile Wellness Walk
The event takes place on August 8, 2026, at 5401 Peach St in Erie, Pennsylvania. This is its 13th annual occurrence.
It offers several event options for participants:
- 5K Run (3.1 miles), timed
- 5K Walk/Run, not timed
- 1-Mile Walk, timed
- 1-Mile Walk, not timed
- Virtual 5K Walk/Run or 1-Mile Walk/Run
The registration fee is $25 for all events. The in-person events on August 8 feature timing devices and bibs, with awards for the top three male and female finishers in the timed 5K race. Post-race refreshments like fruit and water are available. For the live event, packet pickup is available on August 7 and on the morning of the event.
There is also a virtual option where participants can complete their chosen distance between May 1 and September 30, 2026, and upload their results online. Virtual participants receive a completion t-shirt by mail.
