About the race
Leavenworth Trail Fest is scheduled for May 29, 2027, at the Leavenworth Ski Hill Area, 10701 Ski Hill Drive, Leavenworth, WA 98826. The event is organized by Mountain Running Races and includes multiple trail races and a weekend festival atmosphere.
Courses use ridgelines north of town and a mix of alpine ridges, forest service roads, and flowy singletrack that open to views of the Eastern Cascades. Packet pickup is listed for Friday, May 22 at the Ski Hill Lodge. Registration opens October 1, 2026.
Distances and key course facts:
- 50K - two loops of the 25K Skyline course, approximately 7,500 ft elevation gain.
- 25K - new loop on the north side of Tumwater Mountain, approximately 3,700 ft elevation gain.
- 5K - town 5k on trails designed for shorter-distance participation.
- Kids race available for youth athletes.
The Ski Hill 50K includes several aid stations along the route. Podium awards and divisional results are offered for men, women, and non-binary competitors; the 25K participates in the Vert Running Series with elite, masters, and sport divisions. Youth under 20 receive a 50% discount using code YOUTH2026.
