Leavenworth Trail Fest : Leavenworth, Washington
Leavenworth Trail Fest is a weekend trail running festival organized by Mountain Running Races at the Leavenworth Ski Hill Area. Courses run on ridgelines and trails north of town, with terrain that includes alpine ridges, forest service roads, and fast flowing singletrack. The event highlights views of the Cascades and the Eastern Cascades' drier landscape.
Race options include:
- 50K two loops of the 25K Skyline course, ~7,500 ft elevation gain, seven aid stations, 10-hour cutoff.
- 25K Skyline loop, ~3,700 ft elevation gain, offered in Elite, Masters (45+), and Sport divisions.
- The Town 5K trail course aimed at families and newer trail runners.
- Kids race.
The Skyline 25K climbs to Tumwater Ridge and crowns a Vert King, Queen, and Monarch at the high point before descending toward Freund Canyon. The Ski Hill 50K repeats that loop for a longer mountain challenge.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, May 22 at the Ski Hill Lodge. All 25K and 50K finishers may choose a custom finisher award or three trees planted in the Pacific Northwest. 25K and 50K participants receive a post-race meal; 5K finishers receive a medal and snacks. Youth under 20 receive a 50% discount with code YOUTH2026.
The festival includes a Trail Family Food Tent, live music, group runs, family activities, and local partners such as Evergreen MTB Alliance, Leavenworth Ski Hill Area, Brooks, and Black Diamond. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
