Event overview
Leavenworth Trail Fest takes place in Leavenworth, Washington on May 23, 2026. The event is based at the Leavenworth Ski Hill Area and includes multiple trail races and a festival atmosphere with a Trail Family Food Tent. Registration closes on May 21 at 11:59 PM PT.
Races and course
- Ski Hill 55k - two loops of the Skyline course, about 7,700 feet of vertical gain.
- Leavenworth Skyline 27k - approximately 3,800 feet of vertical gain; route uses mountain bike trails, ascends via "The Nut," reaches Tumwater Ridge, then descends toward Freund Canyon.
- The Town 5k - short mountain 5k suitable for youth participation.
Divisions include Elite, Sport and Masters (Masters is 45 years and older). Race results and awards are given for Men, Women and Non-binary categories, with awards three deep in many divisions. Youth under 20 receive a 50% discount using code YOUTH2026.
Additional details
Finishers may choose a custom finisher award or to have trees planted via One Tree Planted at registration. All races include a post-race meal at the Trail Family Food Tent. Volunteer positions offer a $20 credit per hour usable on future events; credits are valid for two years and may be transferred. Race policies and FAQs are provided by the organizer.
