Leavenworth Trail Fest
Leavenworth Trail Fest takes place at the Leavenworth Ski Hill Area in Leavenworth, Washington (10701 Ski Hill Drive). Courses run along ridgelines north of town and include a mix of alpine ridges, forest service roads, and flowy singletrack with views toward the Eastern Cascades.
Distances offered:
- 55K: two loops of the 27K Skyline course, about 7,700 ft elevation gain.
- 27K: Skyline course, about 3,800 ft elevation gain.
- The Town 5K: shorter trail course near town.
The Skyline 27K climbs The Nut and reaches Tumwater Ridge near the Tumwater Paraglider Launch. The 27K awards Vert Running Series points and crowns the King, Queen, and Monarch at the high point. The 27K fields Elite, Masters (45 plus), and Sport divisions; podium awards are given to the top three in each division for men, women, and nonbinary categories.
The Ski Hill 55K repeats the 27K loop twice, includes seven aid stations, and has a 10 hour cutoff. Podium awards and gear prizes are offered for top finishers and high point winners.
The Town 5K includes boys and girls U19 divisions and a custom finisher medal. Youth under 20 receive a 50% discount with code YOUTH2026. Finishers in the 27K and 55K may select a custom finisher award or have three trees planted in the Pacific Northwest. Event weekend features a Trail Family Food Tent, live music, kids race, Hammerslag, inflatable costume race, Fall City Kombucha, and Leavenworth Alpenhorns. Packet pickup is scheduled Friday, May 22 at the Ski Hill Lodge. Volunteers receive a credit per hour usable on future events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
