Leavenworth Trail Fest
Leavenworth Trail Fest is a trail running weekend at the base of the Leavenworth Ski Hill Area in Leavenworth, Washington. The event offers multiple race distances and a companion festival with food, music, and community activities.
Courses run on the ridgelines north of town and include alpine ridges, forest service roads, and flowy singletrack with views of the Eastern Cascades’ dry landscape. The festival presents a variety of race formats and participant divisions, including Elite, Masters, and Sport for the 25k as part of the Vert Running Series.
Distances:
- 50K Ski Hill 50K - two loops of the Skyline course, ~7,500 ft gain
- 25K Leavenworth Skyline 25K - loop on north side of Tumwater Mountain, ~3,700 ft gain
- 5K The Town 5K - shorter, trail and beginner friendly
The 50K course includes seven aid stations and a 10 hour cutoff. Finishers in the 25k and 50k may choose a custom finisher award or have three trees planted in the Pacific Northwest. The 25k awards include Vert Running Series points and podium prizes; top finishers receive entries to other events. Festival features listed include a Trail Family food tent, live music, a kids race, group run, and other Bavarian-style activities. Packet pickup is scheduled for the Friday before the races at the Ski Hill Lodge. Youth under 20 receive a 50% discount using code YOUTH2026.
