Leavenworth Trail Fest : Leavenworth, Washington
Leavenworth Trail Fest is a multi-distance trail running event based at the Leavenworth Ski Hill Area in Leavenworth, Washington. The event uses ridgelines north of town and a mix of alpine ridges, forest service roads, and mountain trails that open to views of the Eastern Cascades.
The event distances include:
- 55K Ski Hill 55k, ~7,700 ft elevation gain, two loops of the 27K course.
- 27K Leavenworth Skyline 27K, ~3,800 ft elevation gain, ridgeline climbs and fast downhill forest roads.
- 5K The Town 5K, trail course aimed at beginners, families, and youth.
The 27K is part of the 2026 Vert Running Series and offers Elite, Masters (45+), and Sport divisions, with additional King, Queen, and Monarch prizes for the first to the high point. The Ski Hill 55K follows the 27K loop twice, includes seven aid stations, and has a 10-hour cutoff. Finishers of the 27K and 55K may select a custom finisher award or have three trees planted in the Pacific Northwest. 27K and 55K participants receive a post-race meal; 5K finishers receive a custom medal and snacks.
Festival activities at the ski hill base include packet pickup, a group run, live music, a kids race, food tent, and community features supported by local partners and sponsors. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
