Mad Meadows on October 10, 2026 is a pair of trail racing options near Leavenworth, Washington, with courses that run from the Chiwawa River Road up into high alpine ridgelines and meadows. The event takes place at Grouse Creek Group Campground and uses nearby USFS roads and trails.

The courses feature smooth single track, steep climbs, and technical rocky sections. The 50k reaches elevations over 6000 ft and records about 7000 ft of elevation gain. The 50 mile course tops out above 7000 ft and records about 11,000 ft of elevation gain. Notable terrain includes Minnow Ridge, Basalt Pass, Garland Ridge with pumice slopes and larches, talus slopes with old-growth larch, Mad Meadows, Alder Ridge, and final single track along the Chiwawa River to the finish.
Aid stations are positioned along both courses; some stations are water only. Drop bags are available at Basalt and Chikamin for 50 mile runners and at Chikamin for 50k runners. The race is cupless; runners must carry a refillable container. Required gear differs by distance and includes a rain or wind jacket, a course GPS on a device, and specified water capacity. Pacers are not allowed. Crew access is limited to designated aid stations. A approximately 1 mile kids race is offered as part of the event.
