Leaf Stomp 2026
Leaf Stomp 2026 is a non-competitive hike on the Ice Age National Scenic Trail through Kettle Moraine State Forest - Northern Unit in Campbellsport, WI. Routes start at various points and return to the Mauthe Lake Recreation Area by shuttle transport to the starts.
Available route distances:
- 22+ miles
- 15 miles
- 10 miles
- 5 miles
Each route includes aid and refreshment stations and road crossing guards. The 22+ mile and 15 mile routes are suggested for participants over 16 years old. Minors younger than 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Dogs are not allowed at the event.
The hike is organized as a fundraiser for the Friends of the Kettle Moraine and is held rain or shine. Registration is managed by the event organizer and fees vary by route and registration period.
