LCEC 15th Annual 5K for United Way
LCEC organizes a community 5K in Cape Coral to benefit the United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades County. The event offers both a live 5K and a virtual 5K option, plus shorter youth runs.
Distances:
- 5K live and virtual
- 880 yards (Kids 1/2 Mile Fun Run, 12 and under)
- Tot Trot for children 4 and under
Registration fees are tiered: $30 through Nov 30, $35 through Jan 15, and $40 on Jan 16 (race day). Kids 1/2 Mile fees are $15 through Jan 15 and $20 on Jan 16. The Tot Trot has no charge. Race shirts are available and registering early is recommended to guarantee shirt size. Race swag is available while supplies last.
Pre-race packet pick-up is scheduled for Jan 15 at The Run Shoppe, 1407 Cape Coral Pkwy E, Cape Coral, FL 33904. Race day packet pick-up and on-site registration are offered in the morning. Event timing is handled by Beach Bum Timing. Live 5K participants can opt to receive text results during registration. Race results will be posted on race day.
