Event details
The 14th Annual LCEC 5K is scheduled for Saturday, January 3, 2026, in Cape Coral, Florida. The event is hosted by LCEC for United Way and is based at Jim Jeffers Park, 2817 SW 3rd Ln, Cape Coral, FL 33991. Event timing is managed by Beach Bum Timing and race results will be posted on the race website.

Fees and registration rules include an event price schedule: $30 through Nov. 2, $35 through Dec. 31, and $40 from Jan. 1 through race day. A youth price of $20 applies for ages 0-17 for the 5K events. The Kids 1/2 Mile Fun Run is $15 through Jan. 2 and $20 through race day. The Tot Trot is free for children 4 and under.
Logistics and awards
Pre-race packet pickup is on January 2, 2026, at The Run Shoppe, 1407 Cape Coral Pkwy E, Cape Coral, FL, from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Race day packet pickup and on-site registration are available from 6:30 AM to 7:15 AM; multiple payment methods are accepted. Live 5K entrants can opt in for text results during registration.
Awards for the live event include overall male and female, masters and grand master categories by age (40+, 50+, 60+, 70+), and age-group awards (top three male and female) across multiple age brackets from 10 & under through 75+.
