About the race
The 28th Annual Lawrence Vietnam Memorial 5k Run or Walk takes place in Lawrence, Massachusetts, at the Lawrence Elks Lodge #65, 652 Andover Street. The event offers a 5k run (timed) and an untimed 5k walk, both along a road race course through the Lawrence area. The event features a community atmosphere, a post-race ziti dinner, and long-sleeve shirts for the first 250 registrants.
Awards are given to overall male and female winners and all age groups up to 89, plus Veteran and Vietnam Veteran categories. Proceeds support local scholarships and veterans organizations.
