Last Call Triathlon - Boyd Lake State Park
Last Call Triathlon is a multi-discipline race day at Boyd Lake State Park in Loveland, Colorado on September 27, 2026. The event is USAT sanctioned and listed as a 100% plant based event. 2026 marks the eighth annual running of this race.
The weekend program includes multiple race formats:
- Sprint Triathlon: 750 meter swim, 10 mile bike, 3.1 mile run
- Sprint SUP Triathlon: 750 meter SUP, 10 mile bike, 3.1 mile run
- Supersprint Triathlon: 450 meter swim, 4.9 mile bike, 2.15 mile run
- Duathlon: 2.15 mile run, 10 mile bike, 3.1 mile run
- Aquabike: 750 meter swim, 10 mile bike
- Aquathlon: 750 meter swim, 3.1 mile run
Swim courses are single loops marked with buoys and a swim-in arch; surface temperatures are estimated in the mid 60s to 70 degrees Fahrenheit. SUP athletes stage near the swim start flags and are launched in a separate wave. The sprint bike course uses two loops with a smooth central road section and a north segment on parallel bike paths; the south segment includes older pavement and quick turns. Run courses follow wide, paved pedestrian paths and include a section along the water’s edge.
Event logistics note on-site camping and large parking lots within a short walk of transition. Parking passes are managed through race packet distribution. Aid stations use refill jugs on the bike course and biodegradable cups on the run course. Race items provided to athletes include an event shirt, race bib, finisher medal, free photos, post-race food and professional chip timing.
