36th Last Blast Prediction 5k
The Last Blast Prediction 5k is an annual event held in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. This race features a unique scoring format where participants predict their finishing time during the registration process. The top 20 finishers who complete the course closest to their predicted time receive awards. To maintain the integrity of the prediction format, the use of watches, phones, tracking devices, and headphones is prohibited during the race.

The course begins at Grove Park and follows an out-and-back route toward North Shores. Participants are required to remain on the far right side of the road while heading toward North Shores. The event also hosts the Seashore Strider Summer Race Series awards and the Championship Series Award Presentation.
Proceeds from the event support the Seashore Strider Youth Programs. Registered participants receive various items of event memorabilia, which may include short-sleeve or long-sleeve t-shirts or other equipment. Awards sessions take place at Grove Park following the completion of the run.
Registration is available online or through mail-in forms. Fees are structured with early bird rates and increase as the event date approaches.
