Last at the Lake 2026 - Last Man Standing and 50K
The event takes place at Turkey Run Trail at West Point Lake in Georgia, with a staging address of 500 Resource Management Drive. It offers two timed trail formats run on a 5 km loop and a multi-lap ultra.
Race formats:
- 5 km loop for the Last Man Standing format
- 50 km total distance for the 50K Trail Race, ten 5 km laps
Last Man Standing requires runners to complete the 5 km loop on a repeating schedule each hour until only one runner remains; the final runner to complete a loop within the hour receives a $100 prize. The 50K Trail Race consists of ten laps of the same 5 km loop; the first runner to finish all laps receives $100.
The course is described as well marked and varied, with grassy trails along the lake, shaded single track through woods, a short stretch of pavement under 0.5 miles, and about 150 feet of elevation gain per lap. Entries are limited to 100 runners total and registration fees increase after May 1, 2026.
Awards include cash prizes for the overall Last Man Standing and fastest 50K finisher, plus age or placement awards for top finishers. Participants receive a race t shirt and a finisher medal. Course support is provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
