Last at the Lake 50K & Last Standing
Last at the Lake is a summer trail event held at Turkey Run Trail, West Point Lake, Georgia. The event offers two formats that use a common 5K loop course.
- Last Man Standing - repeating 5K loops until one runner remains
- 50K Trail Race - ten 5K laps totaling 50 kilometers
Each 5K loop follows scenic grassy trails along the lake, shaded single-track through wooded sections, and a short paved stretch under 0.5 miles. The course has approximately 150 ft of elevation gain per lap and is described as well marked. The Last Man Standing format requires runners to complete the loop within each interval until only one finishes a loop; the final runner receives a $100 prize. The fastest 50K finisher also receives $100. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each event.
Entries are limited to 100 runners total. Registration fees increase after May 1, 2026. Participants receive a race t-shirt and a finisher medal. Course support is provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
