Last at the Lake 2026

Last at the Lake takes place on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 500 Resource Management Drive, West Point Lake, Georgia. The event offers two race formats: Last Man Standing and a 50K trail race.

Distances

  • Last Man Standing: 5K loop repeated hourly until one runner remains
  • 50K: ten 5K laps totaling 50 km

Course details

The races use the Turkey Run Trail at West Point Lake. Each 5K loop includes grassy trails along the lake, shaded single-track through the woods, a short stretch of pavement under 0.5 miles, and about 150 ft of elevation gain per lap. The course is described as well marked.

Entries and awards

Entry is limited to 100 runners total. Registration fees increase after May 1, 2026. The Last Man Standing format continues until only one runner completes a loop within the hour; the final runner receives $100. The first runner to complete all ten laps in the 50K receives $100. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each event. All 50K participants receive a finisher medal and a race t-shirt.
