Event details
Last at the Lake takes place on July 25, 2026, at West Point Lake, Georgia. The event is based at 500 Resource Management Drive. Two race options are offered: 50K and a Last Man Standing contest based on a 5K loop. Entries are limited to 100 runners total. Registration fees increase after May 1, 2026.
Course and format
Both events use a 5K loop on the Turkey Run Trail. Each loop includes grassy trails along the lake, shaded single-track through woods, a short pavement section of less than 0.5 miles, and about 150 ft of elevation gain per lap.
The Last Man Standing format requires runners to complete the 5K loop repeatedly on an hourly schedule until only one runner remains; the final runner receives a cash prize of $100. The 50K consists of 10 laps of the 5K course; the first runner to complete all 10 laps receives a $100 prize. Awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers in each event. All 50K participants receive a finisher medal and a race t-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
