Last at the Lake 2026
Last at the Lake takes place July 25, 2026 at West Point Lake, Georgia, on the Turkey Run Trail near 500 Resource Management Drive. The event offers two timed footrace formats on a repeated 5K loop course around the lake.
Race options:
- 5K loop repeated hourly for Last Man Standing
- 50K (10 laps of the 5K course)
The 5K loop follows grassy trails along the lake, shaded single-track through the woods, and a short paved section of less than 0.5 miles. Each lap has about 150 feet of elevation gain. The course is described as well marked and includes lake views and shaded sections.
Entries are limited to 100 runners total. Registration fees increase after May 1, 2026. Awards include a $100 prize for the final runner in Last Man Standing and a $100 prize for the fastest 50K finisher, plus top three male and female awards in each event. All 50K participants receive a finisher medal and a race t-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
