Event overview
Last at the Lake takes place on July 25, 2026 at West Point Lake, Georgia, with races held at 500 Resource Management Drive on the Turkey Run Trail. The event offers two race formats:
- 5K - Last Man Standing, repeated 5K loops until one runner remains
- 50K - 10 laps of the 5K course (50K total)
Entries are limited to 100 runners total. Registration fees increase after May 1, 2026. Registration closes in late July.
Course and awards
The course uses a 5K loop on the Turkey Run Trail. Each lap includes grassy trails along the lake, shaded single-track through woods, a short pavement section of less than 0.5 miles, and about 150 ft of elevation gain per lap. The course is described as well-marked and includes course support.
Last Man Standing requires runners to complete a 5K loop every hour until one runner remains; the final runner receives a $100 prize. The 50K consists of ten 5K laps; the first 50K finisher receives $100. Awards are also given to the top three male and female finishers in each event. All 50K participants receive a race t-shirt and a finisher medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
