Last at the Lake 50k and Last Standing
Last at the Lake is scheduled for July 25, 2026 at 500 Resource Management Drive, West Point Lake, Georgia. The event offers two distinct race formats that use the same 5K loop on the Turkey Run Trail.
- Last Man Standing - repeated 5K loops every hour until only one runner remains
- 50K Trail Race - 50K completed as 10 laps of the 5K course
The 5K loop follows scenic grassy trails along the lake, shaded single-track through woods, and a short stretch of pavement under 0.5 miles. Each lap has about 150 feet of elevation gain. The course is described as well marked and includes lake views and natural shade in portions of the route.
Entries are limited to 100 runners total and registration fees change after May 1, 2026. Prizes include a $100 award for the last person standing and a $100 prize for the fastest 50K finisher. Additional awards are planned for the top three male and female finishers in each event. Participants receive a race t-shirt and a finisher medal. Course support is provided during the event.
