Lasswade 10 Mile Road Race
The Lasswade 10 mile road race is organised by Lasswade Athletic Club and was held on 1 March 2026. The event covers a single road distance of 10 mile and attracted 181 finishers under slightly drizzly and breezy conditions.
Awards were presented across gender and age categories, including senior, under 20 and over 40 prizes. A team prize was also contested and was decided on a tie break using the position of the third team counter. A post race buffet was available for participants.
The race relied on more than 50 volunteers and marshals and received support from local organisations and sponsors, including VMH Solicitors, Police Scotland, Midlothian Council, Oakridge Group, Moredun Institute, Whitehill House Golf Course, Whitehill Welfare Football Club, Rosewell Scouts, Up and Running, Tunnocks, Stewart Brewing and Fort Douglas. Club members assisted with course setup and event operations.
