Inflatable 5K - Edinburgh, Midlothian
The Inflatable 5K in Edinburgh on 5 September 2026 is an untimed inflatable obstacle event held in Midlothian. The course uses a 2.5 kilometre lap that repeats for longer distances and includes large inflatable obstacles, slides and tunnels. There are five music zones along the route and an on course water station.
Distances available:
- 2.5k route: one lap with 15 inflatable obstacles.
- 5k route: two laps with 30 inflatable obstacles including three new obstacles.
- 10k route: four laps with 60 inflatable obstacles.
- 15k route: six laps with 90 inflatable obstacles.
All participants receive a finisher's medal, a goodie bag and a refreshment at the finish. Event services include medical care, event photography, a clearly marked route and a free spectators area. Toilets are provided on site. The event does not allow dogs.
Practical details published for attendees include parking charged at £5 per car and a bag drop available for £3 per bag with size restrictions and searches for safety. Children aged 5 to 15 must participate with a paying adult at a ratio of three children to one adult. E-tickets must be printed or shown on screen to collect race bibs.
