Inflatable 5K - Edinburgh, Midlothian
The Inflatable 5K event in Edinburgh is scheduled for Saturday 5th September 2026 at the event field, Houptoun estate, Broxburn, EH52 6PZ. The course is built from large inflatable obstacles, slides and tunnels arranged on a 2.5 km lap that repeats for longer distances. Music zones are positioned around the course and water is available at a midroute station.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 2.5 km one lap with 15 inflatable obstacles
- 5 km two laps with 30 inflatable obstacles
- 10 km four laps with 60 inflatable obstacles
- 15 km six laps with 90 inflatable obstacles
The event is non timed and awards a finishers medal. Additional inclusions listed by the organiser are a goodie bag, a refreshment drink and on-site food and drink vendors. Practical event details include paid parking at £5 per car, a bag drop service charged at £3 per bag with size limits and security searches, and venue toilets. Dogs are not permitted at the event.
