The Inflatable 5K in Edinburgh is an inflatable obstacle course event held over multiple distance options on a repeat lap course. The route is based on a 2.5 km lap that repeats according to the chosen distance and includes a series of giant inflatable obstacles, slides and tunnels. Five music zones are positioned around the course and a water station is available midway along the route.
Event inclusions listed for participants include a finisher's medal, a goodie bag, event photography, medical cover, a clearly marked route, on course hydration and a free spectators area. Toilets are provided at the venue. Arrival is recommended 30 to 45 minutes before the participant start time. Dogs are not allowed.
Children aged 5 to 15 must take part with a paying participating adult at a ratio of up to three children per adult. Age categories note adults 16+ and children 5 to 15 years. There are team, family and charity ticket discounts and group booking reductions are available for larger parties. Volunteers are offered free run entry and an official T shirt.
Practical notes: parking is charged at £5 per car, bag drop costs £3 per bag and bags will be searched for safety.
