Inflatable 5K - Edinburgh, Midlothian
The Inflatable 5K event takes place on Saturday 5 September 2026 at the event field on Houptoun Estate, Broxburn, EH52 6PZ. The course is made up of repeated 2.5 km laps featuring large inflatable obstacles, slides and tunnels, with music zones placed around the route. Distances available are listed below.

Each lap repeats the same inflatable obstacles; the 2.5 km lap contains 15 obstacles, the 5 km option comprises two laps (30 obstacles), the 10 km four laps (60 obstacles) and the 15 km six laps (90 obstacles). The event is non-timed and provides a finisher's medal, a goodie bag, event photography, medical cover and an on-course water station roughly midway along the route. A free spectator area is available; spectators must remain in designated areas and keep off the marked course.
Practical details noted for attendees include parking charged at £5 per car, a bag drop fee of £3 per bag with size limits and security searches, and on-site food and drink vendors. Children aged 5 to 15 must run with a paying participating adult at a maximum ratio of three children to one adult. Dogs are not permitted at the venue.
