Inflatable 5K Edinburgh - Saturday 4 September 2027
The Inflatable 5K in Edinburgh takes place on the event field at Houptoun estate, Broxburn EH52 6PZ. The course is built from giant inflatable obstacles, slides and tunnels and includes music zones and on-course hydration.
Distances offered are multiple laps of a 2.5k circuit. Each lap repeats the same obstacles, and lap and obstacle counts vary by chosen distance:
- 2.5k : 1 lap, 15 obstacles
- 5k : 2 laps, 30 obstacles (three additional new obstacles added for 2027)
- 10k : 4 laps, 60 obstacles
- 15k : 6 laps, 90 obstacles
Included for participants are a finisher's medal, goodie bag, event photography, medical cover, a refreshing drink at the finish, and access to a marked route and free spectator area. Toilets, food and drink vendors, and a midway water station are provided on site.
Participant rules and onsite services noted in pre-information include a child age policy (children aged 5 to 15 must run with a paying adult at a maximum ratio of 3 children to 1 adult), bag drop available for £3 per bag, parking charged at £5 per car, and a no-dogs policy.
