Course, charity and awards
The course uses crushed limestone trails in Danada Forest Preserve, part of the Danada-Herrick Regional Trail, winding through prairie, woodland and marsh habitats. The event will support the American Heart Association and the Naperville Area Humane Society. Ten percent of registration fees and 100% of charity donations go to the selected charities.
Features include a race shirt, awards and raffle prizes, complimentary beverages and an after party. The race uses a shotgun start and awards overall winners and age category recognition. Overall awards are presented to the top three finishers, who are not eligible for age group awards. Age recognition pins are given to the top male and female in each age group.
