Event Overview
The Ducky Dash is an annual rubber ducky-themed running and walking event held at the Herrick Lake Forest Preserve in Wheaton, Illinois. The event serves as a fundraiser to support the neurofibromatosis (NF) community, with proceeds benefiting the NF Network's mission to promote research, clinical care, and awareness for this genetic disorder.
The course is set within the preserve, with the start and finish lines located by the East Shelter. Participants complete a 5 km distance consisting of four loops around the lake. The terrain is scenic, and the event uses the Butterfield Road entrance for access to the preserve. Timing services for the race are provided by Race Time, Inc.

The event is open to participants of various ages with specific categories for adults and youth. Registration options include:
- 5 km Run/Walk (Age 15 and over)
- Youth 5 km Run/Walk (Age 14 and under)
