Land O'Burns 10K Road Race
The Land O'Burns 10K is scheduled for 20 May 2026 and is an SA Permit event conducted under UK Athletics rules. Ayr Seaforth are the organising club. Registration collection is at Seafield Pavillion, Old Racecourse, Ayr KA7 4DN on race night.
The course uses a redesigned, predominantly traffic free out and back route introduced in 2024. The route follows a section of the old Butlins railway line and incorporates the Dunure road tunnel. The course is relatively flat with some gentle inclines and descents.
This event holds a Scottish Athletics licence and a SA/UKA course certificate, confirming the distance measurement. Chip timing will be provided by WHAT'S MY TIME. As the event is run under Scottish Athletics rules, headphones are not permitted during the race.
Entry details include a closing date of 17 May 2026 and no entries on the day. Minimum age is 15 on race day. Total places are listed as 325. Prizes are awarded to the first three overall men and women and to first place in age categories. Age group categories are 15-19, 20-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 plus.
