Event Overview
Lambs on the Run takes place at Lambs Farm in Libertyville, Illinois. This annual community event serves as a fundraiser to support the mission of Lambs Farm, an organization dedicated to helping people with developmental disabilities lead productive and happy lives. All proceeds from the registrations and donations go directly toward supporting the men and women who reside and work at the farm.
Participants can choose from two distinct events held on the grounds:
- 5K Run
- 2 Mile Walk
Participant Details
Registration for the events includes several amenities provided by the organizers. Participants receive a finisher medal after completing their course, and the event offers a variety of snacks and refreshments. Those who complete their registration by early May are eligible to receive an official event T-shirt.
For convenience, the event provides two opportunities for check-in and packet retrieval. An early check-in window is available on the Friday preceding the race at the venue. On the day of the event, packet pickup and check-in are located at the main pavilion. The venue is located on West Rockland Road, and the gathering point for the start of the activities is centered at the farm's main facilities.
