Lakeside Classic at Burnaby Lake

The Lakeside Classic takes place on August 16, 2026 at Burnaby Lake in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. The event includes a certified and measured 10 km race and a free 1 km kids run.

The 10 km race features chip timing, a finisher medal, post-race snacks and cold drinks, on-course photos, live results and a leaderboard. Podium prizes will be awarded to the top three men and top three women. Sponsor perks and race day vendors are included.

The 1 km kids run is unchipped but bibbed and includes a finisher medal.

The event is presented with partners Vancouver Is Awesome and Kamino Running Co. The stated refund policy allows no refunds or deferrals for 2026 except in the case of an unforeseen weather event or disaster. The event will be hosted regardless of weather unless the City of Burnaby or Metro Vancouver Parks announces otherwise.
