Lakeside Triathlon, Duathlon and Kids of Steel
The event takes place on Saturday September 12 and Sunday September 13 at Lakeside Resort beside Lake Sunova in rural Oxford County, south of St. Marys. Lake Sunova is spring fed and its water remains clear; typical water temperatures in September are about 21–24 °C.
The venue features a treed transition area next to the swim and bike zones. Registration, food, awards and the finish area are located close together. Parking is about 150 m south of the race site with signs directing arrivals. Spectators are charged an $8 fee by Lakeside Resort with a portion donated to the local church. No dogs are allowed on the property.

- Sprint Triathlon - 750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run
- Sprint Duathlon - 5 km run, 20 km bike, 2.5 km run
- Give It A Tri - 400 m swim, 10 km bike, 2.5 km run
- Olympic Triathlon - 1500 m swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run
- International Duathlon - 10 km run, 40 km bike, 5 km run
Bike courses run through idyllic farmland on low-traffic, shared roads; participants must follow safe riding practices. Run courses follow rolling, quiet roads south of the resort. Wetsuits are recommended for the Olympic and Sprint distances to stay warm on the bike.
Included for participants are a locally sourced finisher's medal, a race-specific t-shirt in a casual sport cut, professional timing by Sportstats, post-event food, draw prizes and age-group awards. A Triathlon Ontario one day fee of $9 or a valid membership number is required. Registration options note deadlines for event logo t-shirts and personalized bibs.
