Lakeside - Triathlon, Duathlon and Kids of Steel
The event takes place on September 12 and 13, 2026 at Lakeside Resort, Sunova Crescent, Lakeside, Zorra, ON, Canada. The program includes sprint and Olympic distance triathlons, sprint and international distance duathlons, Swim-Bike formats, Give-It-A-Tri, relay team options, and Kids of Steel youth races divided by age groups.
The venue sits on Lake Sunova, described as a spring-fed lake with water that remains clean and clear year round. A treed transition area is located next to the swim and bike zones. Parking is available approximately 200 m from the venue. Registration, food services, awards and the finish line are grouped close to one another, and there are viewing opportunities for spectators near the course areas.
Registrations follow tiered pricing for each sub-event and include specific deadlines. Online registration closes on Thursday, September 4 at 12PM or when entry limits are reached. To receive an event-specific t-shirt, entrants must register by August 17; personalized race bibs require registration by August 31. The refund policy provides a 75% refund four weeks before the event, a 25% refund two weeks before, and no refunds within two weeks of the event; processing fees apply. Transfer options are available with defined fees and conditions for sub-event transfers, participant-to-participant transfers, and event-to-event transfers. All registrations require a valid Triathlon Ontario membership or a Triathlon Ontario One Day Fee purchased at checkout.
Participant communications include a pre-event notice sent on September 2 with course and schedule details, a final event notice on September 10 with bib numbers and start information, and a post-race report in the week of September 14.
