Keswick Lakeland Trails
The event in Keswick comprises Derwentwater trail races held with start and finish in Fitz Park. Entrants choose from marked and marshalled off-road courses that use footpaths and bridleways around Derwentwater.

Courses offer panoramic views of Derwentwater, Skiddaw, Blencathra and the northern fells. Terrain is mainly scenic hard-packed trail with occasional muddy sections, some hills, and a notable boggy section in the Glenderaterra Valley. There is one water station on the 15K (around 11K) and one on the 10K (around 6K); runners are asked to carry their own water or bring a reusable cup because cups are not supplied at the on-course stations.
Race numbers must be worn so timing chips can be read; numbers should be attached horizontally. Dogs are not allowed on the course. In-ear headphones are prohibited but bone-conducting devices are permitted.
An event village at the finish area includes live music, race commentary, local food and drink stalls, a sports retailer presence with INOV8 shoe demos, merchandise and basic facilities. Advanced life support medics and a communications team provide medical and radio cover, and the event uses a large team of marshals and stewards.
