Lakeland Paws: Tour de Whinlatter takes place on 29 March 2026 at Whinlatter. It is the 7th event in the 4th Lakeland Paws series (nine events in the series). Entries open 25 July 2025 and close 28 March 2026. The minimum age is 16 or older and the entry fee is £19. The event organiser is Green Space Events Ltd. Course and race information

9k - around 380 m ascent; mainly on wide forest tracks.
12k - around 500 m ascent; covers much of the same ground.

Both routes tour around Whinlatter Top and use quieter parts of the forest. The trails are described as non-technical with wide tracks, though the route is somewhat lumpy. Dogs may run but must use a suitable harness; kit to borrow is available from Non-Stop Dog Wear. Runners may compete without dogs. The route will be marked and the event is chip timed.
