The Lakeland Paws: Tour de Whinlatter takes place on 29 March 2026 at Whinlatter top. It is the 7th event in the 4th Lakeland Paws series and has a minimum age of 16. Entries open 25 July 2025 and close 28 March 2026. The published entry fee is £19.00.
The event is chip timed and marked. GPX files and route maps are available for download.
Course and facilities
The route uses wide forest tracks and visits quieter parts of the forest as it contours around Whinlatter top. Two distance options are offered:
- 9k - around 380 m ascent
- 12k - around 500 m ascent
Dogs are permitted; dogs must be run on a suitable harness. Harnesses and kit are available to borrow from Non-Stop Dog Wear. Runners may also participate without dogs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
