Lakeland Paws: Tour de Whinlatter

Lakeland Paws: Tour de Whinlatter is a forest trail event on Sunday 4 April 2027 in Whinlatter forest. The routes use quieter, less well known forest tracks that contour around Whinlatter Top. The course is marked and chip timed, and GPX files are available.

Both routes run mainly on wide forest tracks with no technical ground, though some sections are uneven or a bit lumpy. The event is one of nine in the fifth Lakeland Paws series.

Distances offered:

9 km, 380 m ascent
12 km, 500 m ascent

Dogs may run but must be on a suitable harness. Kit to borrow is available from Non-Stop Dog Wear. Runners may also participate without dogs. Minimum age to enter is 16.
