Lakeland Paws: Tour de Whinlatter : event overview
Lakeland Paws: Tour de Whinlatter is a trail running event in Whinlatter forest on 4 April 2027. It forms part of the Lakeland Paws series and is listed as the seventh event of nine in the fifth series. The minimum age for entry is 16. The advertised entry fee is £20.
Both routes follow wide forest tracks through quieter, less well known parts of the forest as they contour around Whinlatter Top. Routes are described as mainly runnable with some lumps rather than technical ground. The event course is marked and chip timed. GPX files are available to download for navigation.
Dogs are permitted to run alongside participants when secured with a suitable harness. Kit to assist running with dogs is available to borrow from Non-Stop Dog Wear. Runners may also compete without dogs.
