Lakeland Paws: Tour de Whinlatter
This running event is the 7th in the 4th Lakeland Paws series. The route tours around Whinlatter Top on wide forest tracks, visiting quieter parts of the forest.
Participants can choose between two distances:
- Approximately 9 km with 380 meters of ascent.
- Approximately 12 km with 500 meters of ascent.
The terrain is described as runnable with no technical ground, but with ascents. The event is chip-timed, the course will be marked, and GPX files are available for download.
Dogs are permitted but must be on a suitable harness; borrowing kits are provided. Runners without dogs are also welcome. The minimum age for entry is 16 years.
