Lakeland Paws: Grizedale Growl

Season 5 and the second Lakeland Paws event at Grizedale Forest this season. The course is set on the east side of the forest and is fully marked. The route uses wide forest paths and is described as the most runnable of the series, with less ascent than some other events in the series.

There are two course options:

10K loop with 260 m ascent
6K route with 150 m ascent

The course is chip timed and GPX files are available for download. The event allows up to two dogs per runner on this course; all dogs must be run on a suitable harness. Runners may compete without dogs. There are no cut offs. The listed minimum age for entry is 16 or older and the entry fee shown is £20. Entries open 27 April 2026 and close 2 January 2027.
