Lakeland Paws: Grizedale Growl

Season 5; this is the second of nine events in the series. The event is set in Grizedale Forest on the south side of the forest and includes views over Coniston Water. The courses run on a mix of forest roads and trails and use wide forest paths.

Individual starts are used so dogs have space at the start. The route layout allows two dogs per runner on this course. All dogs must be run on a suitable harness. Runners may compete without dogs.

Distances available:

10K loop with 250 m of ascent
5K with 180 m of ascent

The event is chip timed and fully marked. GPX files are available to download. Minimum age to enter is 16 or older. Entry fee is £20. Entries open 27 April 2026 and close 31 October 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
