Lakeland Paws Grizedale Growl

Lakeland Paws Grizedale Growl takes place on Sunday 8 February 2026 at Grizedale Forest (LA22 0QJ, GB). The event is part of the Lakeland Paws series, season 4, and is organised by Green Space Events Ltd. Entries opened on 25 July 2025 and close on 7 February 2026. The minimum age to enter is 16 or older. The published entry fee is £19.00. Entry requires registration or login via the SiEntries system.

Course and race details

The event is held on the east side of Grizedale Forest and uses wide forest paths. The course will be fully marked and chip timed. GPX files are available for download.

Distances:

10K loop with 260 m of ascent
6K with 150 m of ascent

The 6K avoids some of the ascent and is noted as a shorter option for dogs. The route allows up to two dogs per runner; all dogs must run on a suitable harness. Runners may compete with or without dogs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
