Event details

Lakeland Paws Grizedale Growl takes place on 8 February 2026 at Grizedale Forest (LA22 0QJ). The event is organised by Green Space Events Ltd and is part of season 4 of the Lakeland Paws series; it is the series' second event at Grizedale. Entries open 25 July 2025 and close 7 February 2026. Minimum age to enter is 16 or older. The entry fee listed is £19.00. The event is chip timed.

Course and logistics

There are two course options on wide forest paths on the east side of Grizedale Forest. The course will be fully marked and GPX files are available to download.

10K - 260 m of ascent
6K - 150 m of ascent

Runners may take up to two dogs on the course; all dogs must be run on a suitable harness. Runners may also compete without dogs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
