Lakeland Paws Grizedale Growl takes place on 8 February 2026 at Grizedale Forest (LA22 0QJ). It is listed as the second Grizedale event in season 4 of the Lakeland Paws series. Entries open 25 July 2025 and close 7 February 2026. The minimum age for entry is 16. The entry fee is £19. Entry requires a SiEntries account.
Course and race format
There are two loop options on wide forest paths set on the east side of the forest:
- 10K with 260 m of ascent
- 6K with 150 m of ascent
The route will be fully marked. The event is chip timed and GPX files are available for download. Runners may compete with or without dogs; the course permits up to two dogs per runner. All dogs must be run on a suitable harness.
