Distances and Schedule

The event features three different races, each with separate start times. The schedule is:

1 Mile: Starts at 6:30 pm.
Fun Run: Starts at 7:00 pm.
4x1 mile Mixed Relay: Starts at 7:30 pm.

Race Details

The 1 mile course is described as fast and flat. The 4x1 mile mixed relay requires teams of four runners, with two males and two females in any order; each team member runs one mile loop. The minimum age for the 1 mile and relay events is 12.

The Fun Run is open to all, with a condition that participants under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Fun runners receive medals.

The event is held at Ulverston Park Sports Club, located on North Lonsdale Road in Ulverston (postcode LA12 9DR). On-site facilities include parking, changing rooms, toilets, and refreshments.

Prizes and Entry

Prizes are awarded for the first three male and female finishers in the 1 mile, as well as the first in veteran categories starting from age 40. A prize is also awarded for the winning relay team.
