Lakeland Paws: Dogs@ Dodd
This event takes place in Dodd Wood and is part of the Lakeland Paws series in its 5th season. The course is fully marked and mainly on wide forest roads and trails, and it runs around the summit of Dodd with views across Bassenthwaite Lake to the Coledale Fells. The route climbs and then contours before a relatively steep final descent. The event is chip timed and GPX files are available. Participants may run with dogs or without; when running with dogs a suitable harness is required. Two dogs per runner are allowed on the wider sections, but some parts of the route are narrower and the final descent is steep, so runners should allow for that on those sections. The minimum age for entry is 16 and the published entry fee is £20.

- 8K loop with 370 m of ascent
- 5K route with 210 m of ascent, avoiding some of the climb
