L100 Recce 2: Ambleside - Coniston is a recce day for the Montane Lakeland 50 and 100 events, scheduled for Saturday 17 January 2026. Entry is restricted to those already confirmed with a place in the Lakeland 100 or 50 2026. Minimum age is 18 on the event date. Entries open 25 September 2025 and close 15 January 2026. The registration fee is £30, which covers coach transport, medical support and basic refreshments at checkpoints. The organiser states that entries received from people without confirmed places will be cancelled and the fee returned minus a £5 administration charge.
