Event
The Longleaf Blaze Trail Run is the inaugural trail running event at the Disney Wilderness Preserve in Kissimmee, Florida, on Feb 15, 2026. The event offers trail races and family-oriented activities, including an optional Gopher Tortoise Fun Run for children. The preserve contains restored wetlands and diverse habitats that the event will use for its routes.

This will be a cupless race, so participants must use their own hydration system; aid stations will be available for refilling. The race will not be officially timed. Hats and finisher medals will be provided to participants. Maps of the two routes showing aid stations and porta potties are available with the event materials. Parking at the site will be limited.
Registration closes Feb 1, 2026. There are no deferrals; if the event is cancelled, registrations will be refunded in full. Participants who cancel up to two weeks before the event are eligible for a 50% refund.
