Event details

The Longleaf Blaze Trail Run is a trail-running event at Disney Wilderness Preserve in Kissimmee (2700 Scrub Jay Trail), Florida, on February 15, 2026. It is the preserve’s inaugural trail run and offers the following race options:

10K
Double Down (both races)

The event is described as family-friendly and includes educational activities and an optional Gopher Tortoise Fun Run for children. Hats and finisher medals will be provided. The race will not be officially timed.

Logistics and policies

This is a cupless race; participants must bring their own hydration system to fill at aid stations. Maps showing the two routes and the locations of aid stations and porta potties are provided. Parking will be limited. The event will proceed rain or shine unless emergency conditions require delays or cancellation. There are no deferrals; if the event is canceled, registrations will be refunded in full. Registrants who cancel up to two weeks before the event will receive 50% of the registration fee.
