Lake to Ocean 100K

This event is a 100K point-to-point race. It begins at the NENA trailhead in Port Mayaka, Florida, and finishes at Hobe Sound beach. The route follows a mostly single-track remote trail known as the Lake to Ocean trail. The trail was voted one of the top 10 most beautiful trails in the world by Outside online in 2023.

The course passes through various ecosystems, including ancient sand dunes, pine flat woods, palm and oak hammocks, cypress domes, and wet prairies. Wildlife in the area may include deer, alligators, otters, owls, snakes, bobcats, coyotes, and Florida wading birds.

There is an 18-hour strict time limit for the event. Participants are required to have a crew. Crew access points are at miles 15, 22, 31, 37, and 48. Organizers note they will try to help out-of-town participants without a crew to recruit one. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
