Event overview

The Lake to Ocean 100K takes place on May 30, 2026, in Florida. The event is a point-to-point ultramarathon from the NENA trailhead in Port Mayaka to Hobe Sound beach. The race field is full and there is no waitlist. Registration closes Mon, May 25.

Course and logistics

The route is mostly single-track remote trail with varied ecosystems, including ancient sand dunes with scrub oak and sand pine, pine flatwoods, palmetto, palm and oak hammocks, cypress domes, and wet prairies. Wildlife reported along the trail includes deer, alligators, otters, owls, snakes, bobcats, coyotes and various wading birds. There is an 18 hour strict time limit. Crews are required; crew access points are located at miles 15, 22, 31, 37 and 48. Organizers will attempt to recruit a crew for out-of-town participants who do not have one.
