Lake to Ocean 100K
Lake to Ocean is a point to point 100K trail race held on June 5, 2027 in Port Mayaka, Florida, organized by Mule Racing. The course runs from the NENA trailhead in Port Mayaka to Hobe Sound beach on mostly single track remote trail.
The route passes a sequence of Florida ecosystems that change along the way, including ancient sand dunes with scrub oak and sand pine, pine flatwoods, palmetto, palm and oak hammocks, cypress domes, and wet prairies. Wildlife reported along the trail includes deer, alligators, otters, owls, snakes, bobcats, coyotes, and various Florida wading birds.
The event enforces an 18 hour strict time limit. Competitors must have a crew for support; race organizers will help recruit a crew for runners who fly in and lack one. Crew stops are located at 15, 22, 31, 37, and 48 miles along the course.
