Lake to Ocean 100K
The Lake to Ocean 100K is a point to point trail race held on May 30, 2026, in Florida. The course runs from the NENA trailhead in Port Mayaka to Hobe Sound beach and is almost entirely on single track remote trail. The distance is 100K.
The route passes a range of coastal and inland habitats, including ancient sand dunes with scrub oak and sand pine, pine flat woods, palmetto and palm and oak hammocks, cypress domes, and wet prairies. Wildlife reported along the trail includes deer, alligators, otters, owls, snakes, bobcats, coyotes, and various Florida wading birds.
Race logistics include an 18 hour strict time limit and a requirement that each runner have a crew. Crew access points are at 15, 22, 31, 37, and 48 miles. Organizers indicate they will attempt to recruit a crew for out of town participants who do not have one. The event listing notes the race is full and there is no waitlist.
