Lake to Ocean 100K - May 30, 2026
The Lake to Ocean is a point-to-point 100K trail race in Florida. The route begins at the NENA trailhead in Port Mayaka and finishes at Hobe Sound beach, following the Ocean-to-Lake Hiking Trail on mostly single-track, remote trail.
The route passes multiple ecosystems, including ancient sand dunes with scrub oak and sand pine, pine flat woods, palmetto, palm and oak hammocks, cypress domes, and wet prairies. Wildlife reported along the corridor includes deer, alligators, otters, owls, snakes, bobcats, coyotes, and a variety of Florida wading birds.
The event has an 18 hour strict time limit. Crews are required; crew access points are located at approximately 15, 22, 31, 37, and 48 miles. If an entered runner is flying in and lacks a crew, organizers will attempt to recruit a crew on their behalf. The race was noted by Outside as being among its top 10 most beautiful trails in a past feature. The race field is currently full and there is no waitlist. Registration for the event closed May 25 at 11:59 PM ET for that entry period.
Finishers receive a finishers buoy. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
