About the Event
The Lake Terramuggus Sprint Triathlon #4 is part of a series celebrating its 25th year, historically serving as an introductory event for many triathletes. The event is held at Blish Park in Marlborough, Connecticut.
Distances & Disciplines
The event offers four different competitions:
- Sprint Tri: A 600 yard open water swim in Lake Terramuggus, a two-loop bike course with rolling hills, and a 5K run around the lake with small inclines.
- Super Sprint Tri: A shorter option with a 200 yard swim, a 5.5 mile single-loop bike ride, and a 1.7 mile run.
- Sprint Relay Tri: A team-based version of the Sprint Tri.
- Aqua Bike: A swim and bike event.
The run course features aid available near the town hall section. Transition area bike racks are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The competition uses male and female waves for the start.
