Lake Terramuggus Sprint Triathlon #3
The Lake Terramuggus Sprint Triathlon #3 takes place in Marlborough at Blish Park. This local multisport event, now in its 25th year, provides several entry options for participants. The transition area operates on a first-come, first-served basis for bike racks, and the starting waves are organized by gender.
Participants can choose from several event categories:
- Sprint Tri: A 600 yard lake swim, a 2 loop bike course with rolling hills, and a 5K run around the lake.
- Super Sprint Tri: A 200 yard swim, a 5.5 mile bike (one loop), and a 1.7 mile run.
- Sprint Relay Tri: A team version of the sprint distance.
- Aqua Bike: A swimming and cycling event without the running portion.
The 5K run course features small inclines and a downhill final mile. An aid station is located during the run at the town hall section. Online registration remains open until the afternoon of the race, with price increases for those registering on the day of the event.
