Lake Tahoe Marathon Events
The event is a three day series of races held around Lake Tahoe with locations listed as Meadow Road in Homewood, California and finishes in South Lake Tahoe. The weekend offers a range of race formats that circumnavigate or travel around parts of the lake.
Distances and formats on offer include:
- Two 5K races
- One 10K race
- Three half marathons
- Three marathons
- A 72 mile ultramarathon that fully circles Lake Tahoe
- A four person ultra relay around Lake Tahoe
Participants may register for a single race or join multi race challenges with preset combinations and names, including completing three marathons in three days, three half marathons in three days, or a combination of a marathon, a half marathon, and a 10K over the weekend.
Sunday races conclude at Lakeside Beach in South Lake Tahoe.
A set of limited time discounts is available, with a maximum 20 percent discount for three day challenges and one discount applied per registrant. Additional discounts include family and friends pricing for multiple registrants, a senior discount for ages 60 and over, and a youth discount for under 18 participants.
