Event overview
The Lake Summit 10 Mile is a 10-mile trail race held on September 13, 2026, at Tuxedo Park in Zirconia, North Carolina (1299 Old US 25 Hwy). The course circles Lake Summit in a counter-clockwise direction and runs mainly on packed dirt and gravel roads. About 90% of the route is on well-maintained gravel or packed dirt, with a single short hill and a total elevation gain of approximately 575 feet. The race is chip timed and offers live results and split times.
Logistics and extras
Registration lists a base price of $40 and a reduced youth price of $15 for ages 1–17; available spots and pricing deadlines are shown on the event page. Packet pickup takes place at the shelter near the start/finish area. Parking is available at the Tuxedo Park address. Race proceeds support the Upstate Running Club Youth Team.
Included race items and onsite services: a finisher medal, custom race bib, race tattoo, event giveaways, a race sticker, complimentary race photos, music and a post-race gathering, and a free pancake breakfast for finishers.
