Course and race details
The 10-mile trail race circles Lake Summit in a counter-clockwise direction. About 90% of the course is on packed dirt roads, with one short hill and an overall elevation gain of approximately 575 ft. The course is clearly marked with directional arrows at intersections. Timing is chip-based with live results and splits. Packet pickup is located at the shelter near the start/finish area, and parking is available at the Tuxedo Park address. Post-race provisions include a free pancake breakfast for finishers, complimentary race photos, music, and event-themed giveaways. Awards include trophies for the top three male and female overall finishers and age-group medals for first through third in the listed age categories: 0-9, 10-12, 13-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-79, and 80+.
