The Country Mile 48 Hour - Run/Walk
The Country Mile is a 48-hour run/walk event held April 3–5, 2026 at Beechwood Farms in Slater-Marietta, SC. The event offers in-person and virtual options and includes a separate kids fun run and Easter egg hunt on April 4. Distances are open-ended along a looped course, with participants able to complete distances from short ultramarathon distances up to 150 miles.

Course, logistics and services
The course is a loop of 4.167 miles with about 75 ft elevation gain per loop. Surface is mainly wide dirt paths with some grass and light gravel. Directional arrows mark turns. Chip timing is used; each lap is recorded automatically via a chip worn with a neoprene ankle strap and lap counts display on a monitor. Participants must return chips at the end of the event.
Camping is available: tent camping in a car-free zone and car camping along the course are free. RV spots are available for a fee and are limited. Portable fire pits and generators are allowed under stated conditions. The aid station is cup-less; runners should bring their own cup or bottle. Aid station items include snacks, soup, water, soda, ginger ale, coffee and electrolyte products. Awards include buckles for 100-mile finishers, finisher medals for other distances, trophies for top three overall, and age-group awards across multiple categories.
