The Country Mile 48-Hour - Run/Walk
The event runs April 3–5, 2026 at Beechwood Family Farm (also listed as Beachwood Farms) in Slater-Marietta, SC. Proceeds and donations support the Upstate Running Club youth team. A virtual 48-hour option is offered.
Race format and course
The event is a 48-hour run/walk on a looped course. The loop length is 4.167 miles with about 75 ft of elevation gain per loop. The surface is mainly dirt paths with some grass and light gravel. The course is marked with directional arrows. Chip timing is used; each lap is recorded when runners cross the timing mat. Aid station service is provided but will be limited overnight; the event is cup-less so participants should bring their own cup or bottle.

- 25 miles - 6 laps
- 50k - 8 laps
- 50 miles - 12 laps
- 100k - 15 laps
- 100 miles - 24 laps
- 125 miles - 30 laps
Buckles are awarded for 100-mile finishers; finisher medals are provided for other distances. Cumulative mileage awards and additional pins and buckles for lifetime totals are listed.
Facilities and services
Camping is available (tent and car camping free; RV spots available for a fee). Meals and on-site food service are provided by local groups; a beer truck will be on site. The aid station offers snacks, soups, and a range of beverages. Packet pickup is available before the event. Volunteers who work shifts may earn entry to Upstate Race Series events.
