Lake Norman State Park Sprint
The Lake Norman State Park Sprint takes place on April 25, 2026 in Troutman, North Carolina at Lake Norman State Park, 759 State Park Rd. The event offers Individual, Relay, and Aquabike categories and lists a price range of $65 to $135. Registration opens November 1, 2025.
Race distances are:
- Swim: 750 meters
- Bike: 18 miles
- Run: 5 kilometers
Participants may park immediately adjacent to the main race site. Packet pick up is at the race site on the day before and the morning of the event. A photo ID is required for packet pick up. Cash, check, or credit card are accepted and every participant must pick up their own packet, including relay team members.
The park is located about six miles from the Mooresville exit off I-77. It contains more than 30 miles of single track mountain bike trails and a family campground with 32 sites. In place of in person participant meetings, a participant information video will be posted on the event website a few days before the race.
