Lake Gwelup 5km Cross Country (Race 3 of the Winter Cup Series)
Lake Gwelup 5km Cross Country is Race 3 of the Winter Cup Series held by the West Australian Marathon Club in partnership with UWA Athletics Club. The event takes place at Lake Gwelup on 27 September 2026 and features a cross country course run mainly on grass over varying lengths of terrain. Spikes are welcome.
This race is part of a series that combines events organised by both clubs to offer competitive and inclusive opportunities across the winter season. A Winter Cup Series cash prize will be awarded to the top three teams in each category. Entry arrangements distinguish between club members and non-members: WAMC members run free, and entry fees are set for non-members and under 18s. Online registrations open before the event and close on 24 September 2026, with a late registration penalty applied from the Saturday before the event for non-members.
