About the race
The Perth Running Festival Marathon is a full marathon of 42.195 km held as part of the 2026 event on Sunday 11 October 2026. The course runs through Burswood Park and alongside the Swan River, with the finish inside Optus Stadium. The organiser describes the course as flat and fast and notes the stadium finish.
Entry for adults is listed at $195 and includes entry, race bib, safety pins, a race information booklet, a finishers medal and a finishers shirt. The minimum age for marathon entrants is 18 years, age calculated at the event date. Wheelchair entries are not open for the 2026 marathon. The published cut off time for the marathon is 7 hours.
A course map (from the 2025 event) and a course flyover are available and are noted as subject to change. The event publishes a series of aid stations roughly every few kilometres; these provide water at all stations, a mix of Gatorade and gels at selected stations, and toilets at each aid station. A waiting list is maintained for the marathon. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
